For over 4 years, spiritual direction has been a grounding, transformative presence
in my life. It’s been the sacred space where I’ve encountered God’s gentle nearness in the most surprising and tender ways. After years of receiving direction, I entered into formal spiritual direction training at An Croí Wisdom Institute, and I’ve spent the last 2 years companioning others as a spiritual director—offering what has been such a profound gift to me.

Spiritual direction, to me, is a sacred space set apart for listening deeply to the voice of the soul. It is an honouring of what is present and what is not, a quiet space for wonderings, longings, doubts, hopes, and awakenings to come forward and be held. In this space, we listen together—with God—for what is stirring beneath the surface.

I bring to this work over 30 years of experience in early childhood education, where I offered a holistic approach that nurtured mind, body, heart, soul, and spirit. That
lifelong attentiveness to the whole person now shapes the way I companion adults— honouring the sacredness of each individual’s journey and inner wisdom.

I approach spiritual direction as an Anam Cara—a soul friend—walking alongside
another in love, humility, and trust. It is less about guidance and more about
presence: a holy hospitality that says, “Come as you are. All of you is welcome
here.” There is mystery in this work—beautiful, sacred mystery—and I count it an
honour and privilege to sit with others in these moments of unfolding.
